At Olive Tree Academy, your child’s safety and security is my top priority. All members of my staff are fingerprinted and background cleared through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). We also utilize Megan’s law and NSOPW (National Sex Offender Public Website) as safety resources.   In addition to fingerprinting and background checks, all staff are required to complete mandated reporter training and are CPR/First Aid certified in infant, child and adult practices. 

I have taken a great deal of time and care to ensure the safely of your children while in my home. 

• • Daily activities will take place primarily in the preschool room.

    • Upstairs & garage are ALWAYS off limits.

  • Child safety gate blocking access to rest of home beyond the preschool room.

    • The only time children will have access to space outside the preschool room is when we walk to the back door to play outside.

    • This transition from the preschool room to outside will always occur in an organized fashion and with adult supervision.

  • 5ft pool gate with lock surrounding outdoor pool, water surface alarm in pool, life saving ring and pole visibly hung and accessible in outdoor area.

  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors located throughout home.

  • Fire extinguisher and pull station located in home.

  • Fully stocked first aid kit and emergency supplies are kept in the preschool room and are taken outside with children at play time.

  • Regular unannounced visits from Community Care Licensing will occur throughout the year to ensure maintained compliance with safety regulations.
